This bottling of a 7-year-old Lochlea single malt, an original distillery bottling, was produced as the third edition to feature an age statement. The whisky was distilled in 2018, matured in first-fill ex-bourbon casks, and was bottled in 2025.
Lochlea is a distillery near Kilmarnock, south of Glasgow, which has been producing its own whisky as a farm distillery since 2018. As a speciality, home-grown grain is cultivated on over 90 hectares around the farm.
