Informations: This Kilchoman single malt, an original distillery bottling, was produced as the Sauternes Cask Finish 2018 Limited Edition. The whisky was distilled in 2012, matured in 20 ex-bourbon casks, finished for five months in ex-Sauternes casks, and bottled in 2018 in a run of 10,000 bottles.

Distillery: Kilchoman: Kilchoman was founded in 2005 and is the westernmost distillery in Islay and the only distillery on Islay that is not located directly by the sea. Its name comes from an old church whose ruins lie on picturesque Machir Bay. Kilchoman is one of the few distilleries that still malt parts of their malt themselves.
Region: Islay: Islay is the most famous of the Scotch whisky islands. It is often referred to as the queen among them. The majority of Islay's single malts have a wonderfully peaty, smoky, strong flavour - flavours for which Islay whisky is so loved.
Country: Scotland: Scotland and Scotch whisky is a global trend, a development that has led to a flourishing whisky scene in Scotland. There is hardly a week that goes by in which there is no news about another new distillery being built or the reopening of a distillery that has been closed for a long time.

Scotland, together with Ireland, is today considered the motherland of whisky, whose roots there go back to around 1500 AD.

Condition: Please look very carefully at all the pictures, especially the labels and pack, and satisfy yourself as to their condition before bidding.
