Informations: This bottling of a 12-year-old WhistlePig Rye Whisky comes from an acquired stock of a Rye Whiskey warehouse in Canada. The whisky was further matured in ex-Madeira, ex-Sauternes and ex-Port casks.

Distillery: WhistlePig: WhistlePig is a distillery in Shoreham, Vermont, USA, which was founded in 2008 by Dave Pickerell on a former rye farm. Besides rye whiskey, WhistlePig also produces blended whiskeys from rye, wheat and barley. They also use finishes in Madeira, Port or Sauternes barrels, for example, as well as self-produced Vermont oak barrels. Pickerell passed away in 2018, since then the distillery has been run by Emily Harrison and Meghan Ireland.
Country: Canada: Canadian whiskies are usually blends, they are matured for at least 3 years, but mostly for 6 to 8 years. Unlike in the USA, the composition of the mash is not specified, although most of it is exported to the USA.

Condition: Please look very carefully at all the pictures, especially the labels and pack, and satisfy yourself as to their condition before bidding.
