Informations: This bottling of a The Lakes single malt, an original distillery bottling with no age statement, was produced as part of the Whiskymakers Edition Infinity range; the whisky was bottled in 2021.

Distillery: The Lakes Distillery: The Lakes Distillery is a distillery located in an old Victorian farmhouse on the shores of Bassenthwaite Lake in the Lake District National Park, which started production in December 2014. It was officially opened by Princess Anne on 22 July 2015. Already in 2019, an expansion plan was announced to double the production capacity.
Country: England: England, unlike its northern neighbour Scotland, is not very well known for its whisky, although there were distilleries in London, Liverpool and Bristol until the late 19th century. It was not until the early 2000s that new distilleries began to be built, and since then the production of English whisky has experienced an upswing.
