This bottling of a rye whisky called Stork Club, from the Stork Club Distillery in Schlepzig, was produced as a community bottling especially for Friendly Mr.Z. The whisky was distilled in 2022, matured in an ex-red wine cask and bottled at cask strength in 2026.
As of 2017, there are already more than 150 distilleries in Germany producing German whisky. Most distilleries produce clear brandies and use whisky production as a niche and side business.
