This single cask bottling of an 11-year-old Caol Ila single malt was produced by the independent bottler The Whiskyfind. The whisky was distilled in 2008, matured in a hogshead and bottled in 2019 in a run of 290 bottles.
Caol Ila means Sound of Islay and derives from the location of the distillery directly on the strait. Founded in 1846 and renovated from the ground up in 1974, it produces a mid-range Islay whisky.
