This 21-year-old Bowmore single malt, an original distillery bottling, was produced in collaboration with Aston Martin as Masters Selection No. 1. The whisky was matured in ex-Pedro Ximénez and ex-Oloroso sherry casks and was bottled in 2021.
The distillery was founded in 1779, making it one of the oldest in Scotland. It is located on the shore of Loch Indaal in the centre of Islay, the warehouses are directly on the sea, partly below sea level.
