This single cask bottling of a 20-year-old Longmorn single malt was produced by independent bottler The Vintage Malt Whisky Co. from Glasgow as part of The Coopers Choice series. The whisky was distilled in 1992, matured in an ex-sherry cask and bottled in 210 bottles in 2013.
In the immediate vicinity of Benriach, the distillery is located on the road between Elgin and Rothes. It was founded in 1894 by John Duff, and its name means Place of the Holy Man. It has been in continuous operation since it was built, and its whisky is the main ingredient in the Chivas Regal blend.
The Speyside lies in the north-east of the Highlands and is considered the centre of Scotland's whisky production.
