This single cask bottling of a 17-year-old Longmorn single malt was produced by independent bottler Signatory Vintage. The whisky was distilled in 1996, matured in a first-fill ex-sherry butt and bottled in 2013 with 879 individually numbered bottles.
In the immediate vicinity of Benriach, the distillery is located on the road between Elgin and Rothes. It was founded in 1894 by John Duff, and its name means Place of the Holy Man. It has been in continuous operation since it was built, and its whisky is the main ingredient in the Chivas Regal blend.
