The bottling of a 21-year-old Bowmore single malt as an original distillery bottling was produced in collaboration with Aston Martin as Masters Selection No. 4. The whisky matured in ex-Tawny port and ex-Oloroso sherry casks and was bottled in 2024.
The distillery was founded in 1779, making it one of the oldest in Scotland. It is located on the shore of Loch Indaal in the centre of Islay, the warehouses are directly on the sea, partly below sea level.
