Informations: This single cask bottling of Daftmill single malt, an official bottling from the distillery, was produced specifically for the Milan Whisky Festival. Distilled in 2011, the whisky matured in a first-fill ex-oloroso sherry butt and bottled in 2022 in a limited edition of 667 individually numbered bottles.

Distillery: Daftmill: Daftmill is a distillery near Cupar, Fife, Scotland, founded in 2005 by brothers Francis & Ian Cuthbert, who run it on their farm. It is one of the few distilleries located in the Lowlands and also one of the smallest in Scotland. Production started on 18 December 2005.
Country: Scotland: Scotland and Scotch whisky is a global trend, a development that has led to a flourishing whisky scene in Scotland. There is hardly a week that goes by in which there is no news about another new distillery being built or the reopening of a distillery that has been closed for a long time.

Scotland, together with Ireland, is today considered the motherland of whisky, whose roots there go back to around 1500 AD.
