Informations: This single cask bottling of AnCnoc single malt, an original bottling from the distillery, was produced especially for Germany. The whisky was distilled in 2007 and bottled in 2023 with 204 individually numbered bottles.

Distillery: AnCnoc: The Knockdhu distillery, which has been producing under the name AnCnoc (Gaelic for hills) since 1993, was founded in 1893 near the Knock Hills. In its chequered history it was closed several times until it was reopened in 1988 by the current owners Inverhouse Distillers.
Country: Scotland: Scotland and Scotch whisky is a global trend, a development that has led to a flourishing whisky scene in Scotland. There is hardly a week that goes by in which there is no news about another new distillery being built or the reopening of a distillery that has been closed for a long time.

Scotland, together with Ireland, is today considered the motherland of whisky, whose roots there go back to around 1500 AD.
