Bottlings under the Solist label are single cask bottlings at cask strength from Kavalan, here in a version aged in sherry casks, each with cask number and signature of the master blender.
The construction of the Kavalan Distillery as the first private distillery in Taiwan begins in April 2005. After only 9 months of construction, most of the buildings are completed in December 2005. Whisky is produced there from 11.03.2006.
