This single cask bottling of a Glentaucher was produced by the independent bottler Signatory Vintage in the Samurai series. The whisky was distilled in 2009, matured in a first-fill ex-sherry butt and was bottled at cask strength in 2020 with 621 individually numbered bottles.
The Glentauchers distillery is located between Keith and Rothes and was built in 1898. Its name means valley of the wind and it is probably one of the lesser known distilleries in Scotland. Almost the entire production is used for blends.
