This single-cask bottling of a 13-year-old Bowmore single malt was produced by the independent bottler The Whisky Warehouse No. 8 as part of The Warehouse Collection series. The whisky was distilled in 1994, matured in an ex-bourbon cask and bottled in 2007 in a run of 245 individually numbered bottles.
The distillery was founded in 1779, making it one of the oldest in Scotland. It is located on the shore of Loch Indaal in the centre of Islay, the warehouses are directly on the sea, partly below sea level.
