This bottling of a 14-year-old Caol Ila single malt was produced by the independent bottler Uncharted Whisky Co. under the Golden Years label. The whisky was distilled in 2012, matured in two first-fill ex-Tokaji casks and was bottled in 2026.
Caol Ila means Sound of Islay and derives from the location of the distillery directly on the strait. Founded in 1846 and renovated from the ground up in 1974, it produces a mid-range Islay whisky.
