This bottling of a 21-month St. Kilian malt spirit was produced as Limited Edition Batch No. 6. The spirit was distilled in 2016, matured in ex-bourbon and ex-Sauternes casks and was bottled in 5200 bottles in 2018.

As of 2017, there are already more than 150 distilleries in Germany producing German whisky. Most distilleries produce clear brandies and use whisky production as a niche and side business. Whisky output is at a very low level of sometimes only a few thousand bottles a year depending on the distillery.
