This single-cask bottling of a 10-year-old Caol Ila single malt was produced by the independent bottler Vintage Malt Whisky as part of the Coopers Choice range. The whisky was distilled in 2008, matured in an ex-bourbon cask and bottled in 2019 in a run of 330 bottles.
Caol Ila means Sound of Islay and derives from the location of the distillery directly on the strait. Founded in 1846 and renovated from the ground up in 1974, it produces a mid-range Islay whisky.
