This single cask bottling of a Caol Ila single malt was produced by the independent bottler The Scotch Single Malt Circle. The whisky was distilled in 2006, matured in an ex-bourbon cask and bottled in 2015 in a run of 301 bottles.
Caol Ila means Sound of Islay and derives from the location of the distillery directly on the strait. Founded in 1846 and renovated from the ground up in 1974, it produces a mid-range Islay whisky.
