This single cask bottling of a 14-year-old Caol Ila single malt was produced for Whistillery as Bottling No. 5. The whisky was distilled in 2011, matured in a first-fill ex-Marsala cask, and was bottled at cask strength in 2025 in a run of 127 bottles.
Caol Ila means Sound of Islay and derives from the location of the distillery directly on the strait. Founded in 1846 and renovated from the ground up in 1974, it produces a mid-range Islay whisky.
