This bottling of a 15-year-old Daftmill single malt, released as the distillery’s original bottling, was produced under the name Fife Strength. The whisky was distilled in 2009, matured in 19 first-fill ex-bourbon casks and one ex-Pedro Ximénez sherry cask, and was bottled in 2024.
Daftmill is a distillery near Cupar, Fife, Scotland, founded in 2005 by brothers Francis & Ian Cuthbert, who run it on their farm. It is one of the few distilleries located in the Lowlands and also one of the smallest in Scotland. Production started on 18 December 2005.
