This single cask bottling of a 12-year-old Caol Ila single malt by the independent bottler Brave New Spirits Glasgow was specially produced for Spirits Shop Selection Taiwan. The whisky was distilled in 2010, matured in a hogshead and bottled in 308 bottles in 2023.
Caol Ila means Sound of Islay and derives from the location of the distillery directly on the strait. Founded in 1846 and renovated from the ground up in 1974, it produces a mid-range Islay whisky.
