This single cask bottling of a 15-year-old Caol Ila single malt was produced by independent bottler Best Dram. The whisky was distilled in 2007, finished in a first-fill ex-ruby port cask and bottled at cask strength in 259 bottles in 2022.
Caol Ila means Sound of Islay and derives from the location of the distillery directly on the strait. Founded in 1846 and renovated from the ground up in 1974, it produces a mid-range Islay whisky.
