This bottling of 10-year-old Caol Ila single malt was produced by the independent bottler James Eadie. The whisky was distilled in 2007, matured in two refill ex-bourbon casks, and bottled in 2018 in 1147 bottles.
Caol Ila means Sound of Islay and derives from the location of the distillery directly on the strait. Founded in 1846 and renovated from the ground up in 1974, it produces a mid-range Islay whisky.
