Distributed since 1989, Hibiki 17 is a premium blend of 30 malt and grain whiskies from three Japanese distilleries. Before the blend, the whiskies are matured for 17 years in old Japanese oak casks.
Japanese blend by Suntory with a high malt content, first bottled in 1989 for Suntorys 90th anniversary. The name Hibiki means 'harmony', the whisky is a soft, finely tuned blend. It contains malt whisky from Yamazaki and Hakushu, as well as grain whisky from Chita. The bottle has 24 facets (for the 24 Japanese seasons), the label is made of precious Echizem paper.
