Aurora Spirit is a distillery far inside the Arctic Circle near the town of Lyngseidet in Norway. It was built in a disused NATO base from 2013 and is the northernmost distillery in the world. The whisky is matured in an underground network of tunnels and they plan to launch a permanent standard bottling from around 2025.
