The whisky was distilled in 2011, given an ex-sherry Octave cask finish and bottled in 2022 with 85 individually numbered bottles.
Royal Brackla is a distillery in Cawdor, Inverness-shire, Scotland, which was founded in 1812 by William Fraser. In 1835, it was the first distillery to be granted permission by King William IV to bear the suffix Royal in its name (otherwise only Royal Lochnagar and Glenury Royal).
