This single-cask bottling of a Mackmyra single malt, an original distillery bottling, was produced under the name ‘Vänner av Mackmyra’. The whisky was distilled in 2011, matured in a 30-litre Swedish oak cask, and was bottled in 2018 in a run of 58 individually numbered bottles.
Mackmyra Svensk Whisky was opened in an old mill in 1999 and moved to a new facility in 2011. As a special feature, the whisky is matured in special 30-litre casks, some of which are stored in very unusual places.
