This bottling of a Mackmyra Swedish Single Malt called Utan Hörn luft, an original bottling from the distillery, was produced especially for soul-of-whisky.de and the Viking series. The whisky was distilled in 2014, matured in a gravity cask (body made from a bourbon cask and lid made from Swedish oak) and bottled in 2019 with 57 individually numbered bottles.
Mackmyra Svensk Whisky was opened in an old mill in 1999 and moved to a new facility in 2011. As a special feature, the whisky is matured in special 30-litre casks, some of which are stored in very unusual places.
